I absolutely love Autumn as I'm sure a lot of you do, but when I stop and think that thanksgiving is next month and Christmas is only two months away, I find myself saddened. Life just seems to go rushing past and I'm left standing in the dust wondering what happened. I just turned 16 and it feels like these past fifteen years have been wasted doing pointless things that are just gone...gone like the wind. I have been a part of a Sunday school and a bible study that have really been a help to me. I feel like my life has a purpose and I should use it to glorify my awesome Creator. But life has its pulls as well. I think the big thing is how busy life makes us. I know for me, especially now that school has started, I dont have much time for anything. My bible study and Sunday school assignments are the things that have been pushed aside, which is so wrong. I know that's something I really need to wok on, but it's hard...it's so hard. Prayer would be sooooo appreciated!

DeleteOh my, I'm going through like the exact same thing! I guess, though, God puts us where He wants us to be. If He wants us somewhere else, He'll change the situation. (And seriously...He does.) But I like to think that God is trying to teach me to be faithful in the little things, like schoolwork, and then maybe later on, He'll bring up a big challenge. For now, though, focus on pleasing Him in your everyday life!

Thank you so much! It's always great to get wisdom from another friend who's going through the same things. I'll try that suggestion...starting with schoolwork, i mean. I've been upset lately since this year is the first ever in my life that I've had anything below an A on my report card. I won't give any specifics, but my English grade stinks and it's quite depressing!
