If you are honest, you know you haven’t kept God’s law and you will be guilty on the day of judgment, just like all of us. Romans 3:23 and 6:23a says that “…all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”,
and that, “the wages of sin is death.”

Death means not only physical, but also eternal separation forever from God in Hell. God however, doesn't want you to go to Hell. That’s why He sent His son Jesus to suffer and die on the cross so you could go free. Romans 5:28 says that “while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” 

That’s how much God loves you.

We broke God’s law, but Jesus paid our sin debt. Yet, it is still your choice to accept the gift of forgiveness, and there is only one way.

REPENT of your sin (acknowledge it and turn the other way). Luke 13:3 says, “I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you willall likewise perish."

BELIEVE that Jesus died for your sins to fulfill God’s law and make a way for you to be justified. (Just as if I’d – - never sinned)

ASK for His forgiveness, and believe that He gives it. I John 1:9 says, “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.”

BELIEVE that after he died and was buried, He rose from the 

grave and defeated death.

Romans 10:9 assures you that “if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved.”

Romans 6:23 says that “...the FREE GIFT OF GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
